while the Maasdam will be docked in front of City Café, we will have the pleasure to present The Climax Jazz Band, from Toronto, Canada – the main act from the whole Jazz Cruise.

This will happen between 12Pm and 3PM.

We will make then a so called Jazz Brunch with a nice buffet and nice food options – STARTING FROM 11 TILL 2PM , 15 US PER PERSON

Understand that just from the boat there are more then 500 pax especially for the jazz bands so we might have some of them… @ City Café and you know the size of our venue.

Trevor watched it once and said “get me a Cajon and I can play also”. So we did!

Since then Mr. Gabi Mercera has joined the group and it has been always great! When you bring musicians of this level together, music is magic!!!

Around 10 PM – Mambo Superstars – Aruba – For the first time in Bonaire, this entertaining quartet from neighbor island of Aruba wants to promote their quality and build up a great danceable party from Latin to Antillean and some good “Azucar”stuff if you know what we mean – dance, dance, dance is what the promised to make with the crowd. These group is a short version of a wider band that plays very often in the main Hotels of aruba, so they know what entertainment is all about. Come and check them out – free entrance

Happy Hour & Diner Time - Dj. Bruce Davidson – with his great musical selection from oldies to rock and contemporaneous pop

Around 8PM – Mr. Jan Marit ( NL) Live - This is a typical happening at City – those we really love: a good friend from City Café – Ruud – approaches us because he has a good friend visiting him who loves to play the guitar and sing. Sounds good…in 10minutes we had everything arranged for Mr. Jan to play @ City this coming Friday 18th around 8Pm – he explained us his performances are pretty much on the line of Eric Clapton’s unplugged sessions so.. we can’t miss it! – light rock, blues and much more

we have Jeroen (guitar, voice), Jasper (piano), Gaby (percussion), probably Eduard (saxophone) and maybe an extra surprise on stage.

These Sundays have been a musical blast. And it can only get better.

Frankie Janga is a musician that does not need any introduction in the Caribbean Music Scene. He played several times in Bonaire and it is a musical delight!!

But better than having a great musician playing live is 2, or 3, or 4, or 5 or 6 or even better 7 great musicians jamming together !!

To celebrate the upgrade of Alpha Fm 93.1 and the nice cooperation with City Cafe we will put up a nice relaxed Latin Party.
Plenty of danceable Latin music and videos from 5 PM till the close us down!!

4 great musicians who know very well how to entertain the audience!! Knowing that unfortunately Mr. Trevor (ex. The Peddlers – check out www.thepeddlers.co.uk) will then leave the island for uncertain time, this must be a great opportunity to enjoy these 4 musicians!.

Our good friend from Los Angeles is back on the island and of course he has to turn the wheels at city. Solid mixing, smooth and very technical, last year we had a mad house. Let’s do it again. Starts at 10pm.

And to make it more special Mr. Bruce Davidson, who plays every 2 weeks @ City @ Happy Hour on Fridays, will warm up for …Davidson Jr. – Yes it is true: it is a father and son night!!!

Andreina (Voice), Carlos (percussion) and Jasper (piano) will finally be back on stage. There is a rumor that Mr. Eduard (saxophone) will join them to spice up the act!

They start around 7Pm. Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz and other mellow sounds

Like every year after the main parade in Kaya Grandi, we are ready to receive you all at a great party. Dj. Mike and friends will make sure we have that typical and popular music, while our staff will make sure your glass or bottle will never be empty

Well last 2 times this “1,2, trio “played it was very very special. Can only get better as there is plenty of improvise, jamming and teasing between 3 great musicians who know very well how to entertain the audience!!

These fine artists will be back on stage with good laid back Bossa Nova and Latin Jazz notes
